Changtai Yangtze River Bridge


Changtai Yangtze River Bridge is a river-crossing passage connecting Changzhou City and Taizhou City in Jiangsu Province, China. Located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, it is not only a cross-river bridge integrating an expressway, an intercity railway, and a Class I highway into a "three-in-one" structure but also a vital project in the comprehensive multi-dimensional transportation corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Construction of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge commenced on November 22, 2019. The closure of the Tianxingzhou Special Navigation Channel Bridge was completed on December 22, 2023, and the closure of the Lu’anzhou Special Navigation Channel Bridge was finished on January 12, 2024. The entire bridge structure was fully connected on June 9, 2024. It passed the completion acceptance inspection on August 15, 2025, and officially opened to traffic on September 9, 2025.
